The climate is warm most days here until Late September or October.
Just 10 kilometers from the house we have one of the regions famous lakes Lac de Ste. Croix . The lake was formed in 1975 by daming the river Verdon. The village of Les Salles-sur-Verdon lies 40 metres below the surface. Here you can spend time doing most water sports in relative peace and quite.
The lake is big enough to give you the feeling of space at any time of the year. There are restaurants and plenty of beaches and picnic areas together with strategically placed lifeguards.
